On a serious note, nobody is the same at age 20 as at age 40. So screw all that, I say marry at 16, make like a rabbit, crank out yer brood young. Then when you realize your mistakes and start to become who you really want to be, just start over if you so believe - or not. By this method, you finish raising the kids in a traditional home environment and once they are grown, go do whatever the hell you want with your life.

Humans are best set for breeding from around ages 14-24. Every other species seeks to breed as soon as they become fertile. But people? Noooo, we must put off our biological duties until we do some approved arbitrary career shit.
