I keep reminding people that all this COVID nonsense is just FEAR based propaganda, and that FEAR will shut down their ability to think. I always remind them that these aren't "cases" they are positive test results, we're going to be heading into flu season again soon, so I expect the number of "positive test results" to start increasing again soon. Fear is the mind killer.
My managers' dad is in a bad way. He's 88 and has cancer and now going through chemo (no idea why anyone would think putting an 88 yo on chemo is a good idea, but whatever). I got to discussing with him when he came in early and I was in the office, talked about how people are now too removed from the reality that humans are mortal. He agreed with me that if his dad got COVID and died, it would be counted as a case, but shouldn't be as he wouldn't be dying FROM COVID. For many people death is now something that is remote and almost never seen, their elderly relatives die in nursing homes without them present, rather than dying in a chair in the lounge room. At the same time, people fear death more and more, they have abandoned God and devoted themselves to a hedonic existence in this world without regard for what might await them following their brief existence here.
I wonder how Dan's recovering from his beating? He's been out of the limelight for a long time now, considering that he did a press conference every fucking day for >100 days.

The rumors are either Somyurek or Lindsay Fox's son (after Dan was caught diddling his 17 yo daughter). In any case, the apparent injuries he suffered were not consistent with a fall down the stairs (that would result in injuries to outer extremities, broken arm/wrist/ankle/collar bone, perhaps broken hip), to get broken ribs and spinal injuries seems much more consistent with being kicked when down.
