Well, isnt it like micro usb? Anyway it died fast with no warning, didnt fade or anything. Its not really a streamlight problem, I have many of them.

Yes they are micro USB.
Not disparaging streamlight at all, I own quite a few myself and recommend them pretty regularly. It just happened that the one bad battery I received was from them, they took care of me PDQ so I'm not complaining.
I got mine from battery depot but it looks like they are down right now. are the ones I bought.
