So, the price of a 2' x 4' sheet of 7/16" OSB at Lowes in my city is currently $52.

The closest Lowes to me has over 1600 on hand. That's a lot.

The next closest one has 1800+ on hand.

The same is true of 2" x4" studs, both 92-5/8" and 96". Over 4,000 of each on hand at the closest store.

Supplies are reaching glut level, and the price can't be sustained that way.

I'm in the NE. Demand remains extremely high and supply lacking. Lumber is 1 part, sheet rock, insulation, vinyl siding are Very difficult to get.

Huh. I wonder why so much of it is piling up here.

I can't purchase anywhere near what I use too. I purchase for many Lumber yards. I'm a buying agent that purchases for 4 states of retailers.
17.00 2x6x8kd. 66.00 1/2 ulf. Prices are buy the hour.

Well, if you think prices are going higher, might be worth trucking stuff back up from TX then. :-P
