They seem to generally be run right because the people running them actually care about the communities they are a part of.

I’ve heard mixed things about that forced pention funding to ridiculously far future dates, so I’m not really sure, either way if it actually does turn a profit congress came in and fucked it up

To be fair, the only reason it started being profitable is because FedEx and UPS showed up to provide competition.
