Couple hours. Sucked, but was worth it. Got this vehicle painted. Started doing vehicle maintenance a couple weeks back, and the next thing you know I am doing a couple of paint jobs. This is a 10+ year old SUV. Foreign jobby. Repaint same color, no door jambs, etc. Color was a close match- for being off the shelf. Just a little lighter than the original. New struts. New light fixtures all the way around. New grill, too. Was going to sell this one and another, but decided to go through them and just keep them. This one was fine except for hood and roof rust. One little parking lot dent. Most of the work was stripping the roof and hood. I generally like to keep factory paint, unless it is failing. And this had failed, but in an odd way. Somehow they figured out how to make the roof rust completely and evenly, in spite of the paint and factory primer still being on there solid. Took about two weeks to do the mechanicing and the paint.
