Politicians don't have common sense. They make laws based only on extremes, instead of using common sense and find the truth in the middle. I wonder if they do it because demented, or because they like to fuck with people.

You need a psychopathic mind to be a politician. Just think about how they act: lying to everyone, gladhanding and smiling all the time, grabbing some baby to kiss it for a photo-op, or Pete intheButtegeig pulling a bicycle out of an SUV to show up in, or AOC going to a border fence to pretend to cry at an empty parking lot. Just ABNORMAL behavior that would make any normal person cringe at themselves if they did it. But they do it, all day every day.
