Everybody wants to hate cops ...... till they need one. Same with lawyers. I don't like lawyers at all but damn if they aren't handy when you need them.

As a kid I thought the police kept burglars away. Now I realize they just bring the body bags.

A cop lives up the street from me and this dude is a cop 24/7/365. The dude is in uniform on duty or is in what looks like cop PT uniform. Black tshirt and black shorts. He's cut all the hedges off his property and has his house lit from all sides at night. I've never seen his blinds up or garage door open. All I've ever seen him doing is mowing his grass in that same PT outfit. Really strange dude. I can imagine the inside of his house being like a sheriff's office or police station.
