That's optimistic. Hell breaking loose creates the opportunity for a reckoning and a reshaping of things.

The negative view is that hell does not have to break loose at all. And why would it want to?

The real hell will be to watch as reality is slowly squeezed in the vicegrips until it is unrecognizable. You'll wish it would snap already so the misery would end, but the devil is patient.
