The issue with that sentiment, no matter how true, is in its personal bias of perception. Leftists say the same thing.

It is not my job to stand up for and defend everyone's behavior. It wouldn't even be a good thing to do. There are simply too many people in modern society for me to fight for the rights of assholes to intentionally spread their feces all over everything around them. I'm intelligent enough to decide at what point of the "slippery slope" that I care to get engaged.
Again, this is all theoretical because I haven't familiarized myself with OP's situation, and I don't care to.
I havent either, but the actual case is irrelevant. We are speaking on overarching ideologies not on situational stuff. Situational stuff has to be dealt with individually.
