The guy is a complete idiot honestly, but I've given up trying to show him the light. The subject of COVID came up. He said two of his coworkers got COVID and are still experiencing symptoms months later. This i thought of as weird, which makes me believe the coworkers may have another grouping of diseases not related to COVID, but are too embarrassed to say what (cough STD cough), and are using COVID because its popular. Anyways, i explained that my state no longer cares about masks, and you would think i sprayed holy water on him, he was repulsed by the idea of people not wearing masks, and not being OCD about their pretend hygiene. I've come to the conclusion day of the rope, this man is my brother, but no better off than all the other NPC lemmings. Sad but it is what it is.

If England has shown us anything, or really Europe, the abolition of an item will simply move people into three camps: those who have the item illegally and no longer care because they are already felons, those who no longer have that item, and those who use a substitute item in its place.
