My old watch battery lasted about 10 years. My last watch battery lasted only a couple of years. Instead of becoming more powerful, batteries are becoming very weak. Obviously the producers are pieces of shit, deliberately annoying people.

Same thing happened to my watch. A jewelry store put in the new battery. Maybe they use cheap batteries to bring in repeat customers?

Nope. It doesn't make sense. If they just wanted to get more money, they would have made two kind of batteries, long lasting and short lasting. They are just annoying people.

bluetooth headsets are really shit too, all made for phones

batteries stop charging after 3-4 weeks

Did you get Chinese junk? I've got two headphones from Bose and Sony, and they are still OK.

might be, I was unfamiliar with all the brands.... TOZO was ok, but they go bad in a few months and even got 1 pair that was broken out of the box.

The mob-pro (tiny ones about $12) things are just total crap made for phones, if you play video with stereo audio on a PC, the left and right channels dont sync and you get trapped in an echo chamber unless you downmix to mono.

Stop buying cheap Chinese junk. Western headphones work fine.

I've got a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 2's that lasted many years. I replaced them with a pair of M3's when they finally broke. Never had an issue with the batteries. I'm guessing you are buying cheapo headsets?

They werent cheap, ended up in the hole probably 200 bucks trying to get a working pair., now I got a bunch of em.

I think TOZO might be ok, but has issues with production. I got some TOZO-12 literally right after this post and they are pretty badass. $40 for those.

I'm on a computer all day, enjoy loud music and old movies, and my neighbors are nosy af (and noisy af), So I basically use them all the time.

These work for about 4-6 hours off a short charge. I'll be fucking furious if they stop working in 2 months.

Citizen eco drive. Battery is always full charge. If it gets low just set in the window sill for an hour or two.

Oil from the installers fingers on the replacement battery

I've noticed this too. I got a Fossil watch back in around 2002. First battery lasted until the teens. Then I started having to replace it every year or so.
