So, my best friend [longest suffering friend] was just aboard, trying to get me to talk him out of buying this 911 he found for 50k. He can pretty easily afford it, in his position.

So I pointed out how the US dollar is losing value at an alarming rate, and tangible assets are where it's at. Even if it needs work, it's still a PORSCHE! And he needs to let me drive it.

He did follow up with how I need to work on my resume to find a better job where I could maybe eventually afford one... I don't know if that matters much at this point, but I appreciated his input. I've been retardedly sticking with the same company for over the past decade... but my piece of shit boss keeps giving me 1% raises... so leaving this shitty company is obviously the only way to get a reasonable raise.

But I digress. Or do I? Idunno, whatever. This is my post. FUCK YOU!

He seemed to agree with the logic. And he has the cash laying around, so why the fuck not?

He got better than the piece of shit one percent raise I got, but then he was smart enough to leave this shitty company over a decade ago, and here I still am, like some retarded faggot, thinking loyalty is worth anything.

Sounds as if your company is setting you up for 40 years and a gold watch. Well, maybe a gold-plated watch. Classic European sports cars are OK but I prefer something with a little more oomph. I have a 68 Ford Ranger with a fairly strong 390 in it but drool over a early 50s Chevy or GMC with something blown and injected.

As far as hedging the dollar, I've been putting a little money into a gold mine. See if that turns out and maybe I can make the blown Chev/GMC happen. As you say, may as well have a little fun as the country turns to shit.
