So, my best friend [longest suffering friend] was just aboard, trying to get me to talk him out of buying this 911 he found for 50k. He can pretty easily afford it, in his position.

So I pointed out how the US dollar is losing value at an alarming rate, and tangible assets are where it's at. Even if it needs work, it's still a PORSCHE! And he needs to let me drive it.

He did follow up with how I need to work on my resume to find a better job where I could maybe eventually afford one... I don't know if that matters much at this point, but I appreciated his input. I've been retardedly sticking with the same company for over the past decade... but my piece of shit boss keeps giving me 1% raises... so leaving this shitty company is obviously the only way to get a reasonable raise.

But I digress. Or do I? Idunno, whatever. This is my post. FUCK YOU!

Sounds like you're more interested in tooling around in a Porsche than giving your friend good advice about asset protection.

Well, that's why he's taking it to get a pre-inspection on his dime. But that was not a fun or interesting story point. Or I didn't think it was.

That was all agreed upon with the seller of that one... but then there's that targa one he hasn't even called the guy about... man that one LOOKS cool... but it's not likely he'll go for that. It's a 40k cheapie fixer upper. I guess I will end up with that turd.
