nope. it works in a similar way to dna tests iirc. they keep on amplifying what they have until they get *a* result for *something* to get a coronavirus result apparently you need to repeatedly run this shit well past the amount of times youre *meant* to run the test, and by then you are pretty much looking at a million and one different things of which coronavirus is the *least* dangerous of them and you could by that stage say "Well sorry bud, youve got HIV, herpes, leukaemia, and anaphylaxis we gonna have to put you down"
