The idea of having to pay hospitals to have children is a complete mental brainwash. Humans had kids for free throughout most of history.

They really use the same scare sales tactics that car companies use to get you to regularly come in to check your brakes and tires which is really designed to just sell you something when you get there.

Most people dont need to check their brakes and tires at a dealership and most people can have babies without hospitals. Women used to have 9 or 10. And you actually dont need to check amniotic fluid or do ultrasounds. Not all babies will be perfect or live which is why humans always had 5 to 10.

I'm with you in that the medical profession acts like the have a monopoly on a solution to a problem that only they know exists.

That said, baby #2 would have certainly died during labor and #3 likely would not have survived to term without serious medical intervention (both c-sections).

We're planning to VBAC as soon as possible.
