The respectful thing for you to do would have been to say "thank you for proving that to me".
If you're interested in starting a weight lifting routine I will help you set one up catered to whatever shape you're in right now.
It's a lot easier than you think and after about a month when your body has adjusted and you start to see the changes it will become a hobby. It will be something you look forward to doing.
I've actually been into nutrition all of my life, and eat very healthy. I used to regularly work out for many years and had some lean gains but have since stopped because of injuries and chronic pain, but would like to incorporate something to make gains... although I have a lot of stupid shit going on in my life right now, and so it has made me lazy to working out.
Thank you for proving that to me. I look forward to your posts about working out.
You're talking yourself out of exercising. You know as well as I do that you could be exercising right now, there are things you could be doing.
I always encourage people to start simple, really simple. Just buy a used barbell and a few weight plates off of Craigslist and commit to doing 5 sets of 10 reps of curls every other day. This is 10-15 minutes of your time every other day, its nothing. Also everybody has room for a barbell and a few weight plates.
I know you're not necessarily a beginner being that you've worked out before but this will be a good way to get you back into it. I'm confident that if you just start doing this simple routine you will naturally start to expand and do other stuff.
No more excuses. Get the gear today and complete your first workout before the end of today. Don't overthink this just do it.
The irony is that I have a set of barbells sitting next to this computer.
