There's too much news and too many posts coming in too fast to justify taking someone's time beyond a single sentence.
Frankly, it's rude to comments with a giant paragraph unless you're already in a conversation with someone.

I'd say don't say anything rather then a quick pointless point? At least we don't have the reddit style joke threads that go down the screen for 100+ comments.

I usually one line for easy consumption, but I'll write more when speaking in-depth with someone.
