A lot of times, i just say sure ill put it in, go on to not wear it. Actually, a lot of times ill pretend to put it on, and not put it on. People dont seem to notice this small gesture
I notice the majority are not that confrontational and prefer to avoid it. If you're nice and pretend, even for a moment, they will ignore the fact you are not wearing it just so they don't have to deal with confrontational fears. As long as your nice is the key.
Plus i have a terminal disease, if im gonna die anyways, im not gonna wear a mask if my immune system is shot anyways. There is a limit to the retardation i can take
Oh so sorry. From one stranger to another, god speed. Stay sane in these difficult times.
I am willing to wear a mask inside of local businesses that I frequently patronize. Here's why.
It's not the business owner who will give me a hard time, it's the other patrons. While I don't give a shit what other people say about my mask-wearing, I really don't want to be even remotely responsible if the business winds up on a viral video and gets shut down or fined. It's hard enough for most of them to stay in business right now so I don't want to make it any harder.
I'm the opposite. Businesses I frequent I won't wear the mask and they never say anything. I discovered that the small business owners will look the other way. The low skill cashier on the other hand has something to say simply because they don't understand B2B relationships. I also have a large gray beard and perhaps psychologically that might also have an effect around other customers. I just look confrontational.
I just look confrontational.
Ah, I miss the days when I had the long beard and long hair. Blending into corporate life really saps the strength out of a man.
