It is genetically related to the covid virus and shares long segments of rna in common. Having an OC43 infection may actually confer some low level immunity to covid through your t-cells. This is because you t-cells recognize some of the rna segments. Many virologist have speculated that this is the case. Perhaps that is where your confusion comes from.
Sars cov2 was genetically engineered in the wuhan virology lab. The same lab that is across the street from the “wet market” where a spontaneous mutation supposedly occured.
The wuhan lab has been playing around with coronaviruses in particular since around 2006. They were/are harvesting other beta coronaviruses from bats and splicing them together with the old SARS virus using CRISPR technology and then training the hybrids to infect human cells in immortal cell lines and humanized mice.
The wuhan lab describes exactly what they have been doing in several studies that were funded partially by the NIH and Fauci himself ( as cited in the footnotes ) . If you read these there should be no doubt in your mind where covid came from.

Look, there are zillions of viruses out there, we have no idea. But living in fear of something you have a 99.7% chance of surviving is INSANE. Life is full of risks. FACT 2: Covid is very dangerous for seniors and has killed about 400,000 of them in a year. Those deaths were not really heartattacks. There was a 15 to 20 % increase in deaths in the US over the last year, comensurate to covid death count.
FACT 3: democrats abused the epidemic to force a mail-in ballot election frought with fraud,
FACT4: Dems in the deep state prevented elderly from getting the cure to this disease. Hydroxychloroquine was know to work as a safe preventative and as an effective cure for covid if given right away after symptom onset. They knew that from the start.
Ivermectin was later discovered to be an even more effective prophylactic and treatment than HCQ which is much safer to use on the elderly. A tiny dose taken weekly or monthly is as effective as the vaccine and SAFER. Theyve know that since the summer.
They failed to give the CURE/ prevention for this disease so they could make money. Ivermectin has never killed a person in 50 years, with millions of patients. It cures early stage covid in 48 hours.
