@GetCynical you should plan stuff in /s/ActivismGroup . I can't do everything. One of the things I am looking to do is mobilize people to get things done. I have a list of stuff that needs to happen if you want to take a look in /s/ActivismGroup.
When I graduate college in April, I plan to focus on fixing the voting laws so that we still have a fair vote.
I will post what I have for voting laws so we can get those passed.
Top priorities right now should be:
- Protecting our vote
- Second Amendment
- First Amendment
- Our Food
- Our Medicine
- Flip as many House and Senate Seats Red as Possible
I don't believe voting for congressmen or senators matters any more. I don't think we have any say in that.
It's good to make demands though, because it lets the public see those demands are being brushed off.
That mindset won't help anything. If we don't have the right people to make the laws, then we are now living under a defacto Democratic Party Fascist Dictatorship that could later mutate into some form of Socialism followed by possible Communism. Bottom line is we need to still vote no matter what so we don't end up in that position. Attitudes like that will do nothing but cause more trouble.
If more like you realize "I can do something" then this problem will be fixed.
That mindset won't help anything.
It won't help but I don't know how to escape the conclusion that free speech is dead, freedom of assembly has crimes committed against those who exercise it in order to shut it down on pretenses of "muh potential terrorists!", and that our government does not represent us any more.
They use propaganda to divide the public. They foment violence. They use it like the hecklers veto to shut down free speech, censor, and propagandize further. They stir up mobs in the media. They create hoaxes and demonization campaigns.
And no one goes to jail and nothing is done about it. And when they do? It's just one party or another, like the GOP, slowly backsliding while pretending to try and stop it.
And when people do use their rights? Instantly shut down for 'terrorism'. Usually comments, talk, or materials brought by federal agents themselves.
I don't see how we peaceably assemble or exercise our rights, when they can use crimes they themselves manufacture at will, at their convenience, to shut us down. And I'm not even talking about poal.
I'm talking about americans in general. It's the hecklers veto all the way down, but for federal 'law enforcement'.
I just don't see how anything can end peacefully when you have documented proof of CIA affiliates fomenting violence at what was a peaceful rally on January sixth, and then using their mouthpieces in the media to call for outright bombings/dronestrikes and a "war on terror" against the american public.
They tried to start a war of persecution against the american people and our rights. On home soil.
There can't be any peace after that. Because they've made it clear they're not gonna stop. And if they do stop, eventually they'll do it again.
I will eat my popcorn, sit back and watch the backlash from the public now.
