This is the end of discourse on Poal.

I could let it slide on individual subs, but this is too far; ideas gone unmolested is the promotion of cancer... I suppose that I will have to find a new home.

EDIT: I propose the following solution.

Instead of outright blocking individual users, their replies and conversations are INSTEAD automatically collapsed so that their speech is not infringed upon by allowing the choice to see it, and that those blocking them don't have to see it if they choose not to.

See for petition to change it.

With great power comes responsibility.

If a user blocked you, why would you want to waste your time commenting knowing they don't care about what you have to say.

You are implying that OP can block an unlimited amount of users. They can't block all poal user base and will eventually have to answer to users who disagree with them.

Sure there is only 50, but that is today. As the site grows the demands to raise that number will go up until you guys get tired of it and it becomes unlimited. This a classic slippery slope of 'only just this much'.

Ok. This is how it went down on Gab. Cernobitch used to post on Gab. People called him a rapist, because he raped a bitch. He blocked everyone that mentioned it. He eventually left Gab because he couldn't prevent others from posting on his comments, so others, his followers, learned that Cerno raped a bitch.

Yes. I could have just blocked all Cerno's content and said fuck that guy.
