It's interesting you talk about first wave boomer parents who were all wrapped up in the black riots of the 60's followed by guilt and apologetic behavior that exists to this day. They did a disservice to their kids by teaching them to be pretty much the same..
Yes...absolutely. They as some would say "overcorrected." They felt their parents and grandparents were "bad", "wrong", "behind the times" and "racist" for their old fashioned beliefs. The media and education system (college especially) fucked them up. The media showed the blacks as dindus that were just like us, that White racists were ignorant, backwards, and uncool and that they needed to be in favor of desegregation, integration, etc. Boomers didn't give a shit, they just kept voting republican, kept making money at the expense of everything and could care less about race mixing because being opposed to it was racist. As long as they had their money and their comforts, their expensive toys, their American flag and their civic nationalism then they were happy even if their daughter Becky had 3 nigger children from 3 nigger baby daddies or that their son Johnny was a wigger who knocked up Shamika at Popeye's chicken.
