In the interest of maintaining some semblance of normalcy distant from the political scene I thought I would change it up with something that the fucking filthy kikes haven't subverted [yet] and as such I'm posting a "professional" personal review of the SKIDOO SKANDIC REV GEN 4 600 C/W 20 " WIDE TRACK.
I won't bore the reader with the meaningless details of my life or the history of my experiences that warrants me being classified a professional, however, I have been operating a snow mobile since 1968 and I've put on a lot of miles in the cold Canadian wilderness.
Where I am , on the shore of Lake Superior just west of where the big lake dumps into Lake Huron, a snow machine is a necessity in fact there's been times in the winter when I've went to work or had to get groceries due to snow storm related road closures. Although recreational snowmobile activities grew into a winter economy, my use has been primarily for ice fishing, trap line and hauling wood to the camp. I've seen every possible scenario that a snowmobile operator could encounter including open water and it is by virtue of my past , the reason why I consider myself a professional.
After giving up on Skidoo in 1972 due to inferiority both in engine reliability and weak suspension, I switched to Yamaha with the purchase of a brand new 250Enticer...this machine was fast, light, maneuverable and could take a beating. I've had the Phazer, SRX 600, Venture 700 and the last one was a Venture Light 500 FOUR STROKE. Yamaha chose to go the new age environmental route and changed their product line to the mass production of garbage, which is why I now own a SKANDIC
About the SKIDOO SKANDIC....This machine is superior to anything else on the market. Equipped with wide flotation skis, 20inch wide high profile track and articulating rear suspension , there's no concerns when the snow gets deep and there are no trails, even in reverse. I AM EXTREMELY IMPRESSED WITH THE PERFORMANCE IN REVERSE. Cold weather starting is uncomplicated, no plug fouling or carburetor flooding, no broken pull chord or dead battery or starter issues, the SKANDIC REV 600 ETEC starts the moment the switch is depressed. I've never seen a two-stroke engine this efficient.
Probably one of the most unique designs in the world of snowmobiles is the front and back winch system. A portable mini 2,000lb Warn Winch that stows in it's own mounted carrier is easily deployed when required. The front and back " receivers " are similar to a standard Reese Trailer hitch system, in and out real easy.
The machine is outfitted with a large removable cargo trunk and also storage space under the seat, when heading into the wilderness one needs all the storage space possible. Mounted on the cargo trunk is a well designed chainsaw carrier and axe holder. Even the trailer hitch is designed to be positioned at a desired angle for easy attaching of a sled or ice hut. The running boards are similar to a web of cleats which ensures positive foot gripping and the spacing in the webbing eliminates that floating effect that comes when the running boards make contact with deep snow. Right down to the storage hatch on the dash the SKIDOO SKANDIC is well designed.
Combined with the handle bar and thumb warmers there's plenty of heat from the engine, truly a comfortable ride in the most uncomfortable of environments. Very good fuel economy also...23MPG
I am sold on the SKIDOO SKANDIC 600 ETEC
