I've heard plenty of folks that swear up and down to Newsmax since Fox dumped on Trump. These demographics felt disenfranchised as their eyes were slowly opening. It's sad, but there's not many places to go for the average citizen. Now they get fed another controlled narrative while blindly accepting it. I remember the AM conservative radio chatter during elections was guiding listeners to Newsmax when Fox ratings were tanking. Maybe it was the same across the country, because if you look at the affiliate broadcaster networks... who's at the top issuing marching orders? In my area the top of the "conservative radio" pyramid is Cumulus Media - who has ties to a guy named Dickey and Stratford Research. There's always some shit going on behind the curtain.
