This is the next game:

Everyone goes 'back to the land' to "stick it to the man", while the billionaire class like bill gates buy up strategically placed land and relevant water rights on exchanges (now that water has been made a commodity).

Instead of stocks vs market making hedgefunds, we'll hold all the land, and they'll hold all the water.

Same shit, different day.

Only one conclusion: Gotta go after the companies and representatives that allowed water to be listed as a commodity on exchanges to begin with--get waters status changes back to a non-commodity, create legal problems for them, too much bad press, I don't know.

Otherwise 'disconnecting from the system' and 'buying land' is pointless. Whole lot of good it will do you if you can't grow food without paying what amounts to a 90% tax on what you produce because they'll strangle the market at the source.

Cut their future subversion off at the knees now, at a critical juncture when the old game is dying--and the new game never has a chance to establish itself.

We can be rid of these motherfuckers, forever. Throw them off for good.

Decommodify water. Thats gotta be the goal.
