I take off my shoes at the door and wear my flippy-floppys inside. So much dirt and snow outside, don't want to track that shit inside with me.

think of all the gross shit you walk on out in the world. people spit hockers on the ground, the nastiness of parking lots, etc.

i have house slappies for spring and summer and haflinger felt clogs for autumn and winter. one's home is one's castle and the world out there can just be a very gross place.
