Get ready physically , mentally and spiritually. Shits gunna get tough. Fuel prices and everything else will be going up. Millions more illegal aliens to suppress working class wages and jobs. Hyperinflation could come any time.

Have some extra food that will keep without refrigeration. Have a gtfo plan and a bug out bag. Most of all toughen your mind. Be prepared to be hungry , dirty , and getting by day by day. Instill a sense of no matter what you are going to make it to the next day.

Maybe things won't go to shit , but be prepared cuz it sure as shit could

Bugging out is a dumb idea for 99.99% of the population. Most people couldn’t survive a week in the elements.

Buy food & water for at least a month. Buy a shotgun, sidearm, and rifle. Buy ammo. Buy lumber and hardware. Have a plan to secure your residence.

When shit hits the fan, bug in, not out.

bullshit. any good marine knows to keep moving. have fun dying trying to protect your worthless house and bullshit

Have fun dying in the woods faggot.

any good marine

Okay?

He said 99.99% of the population. So those that aren't marine trained. It may be more along the lines of 98%, but the point still stands.

you don’t need to be trained to know you don’t stay put. when the city mobs come to the suburbs, how many rounds do you think you’ll pop off before you’re eventually out numbered. the point of this post was to get ready. 99.99% of the people will die because they will sit home and wait to be saved.

A marine on the move depends on expert logistics to supply necessities. You sound like a dipshit, not a marine.

this was a post about bugging out and getting fit for when shtf.

damn right i’m going to keep moving. and when we need supplies, me and my men will raid your safe space and take everything you’ve got, and keep moving.

it’s nice to know in your wildest shit-hits-the-fan fantasy, you’re going to stay home and reload faster than the gang surrounding your home. good luck with that.

Well if you're bugging out it would be assumed you're taking supplies with you right? You just don't go into the woods without supplies or basic knowledge.

3min without air, 3 hours without shelter, 3 days without water, 3 weeks without food.

If resource conservation is your plan, and it should be, hiking through the woods is ill advised as you’ll need close to a gallon of water a day.

So you’ll either need to carry it, at 8 lbs per gallon, or find it and sterile filter it.

Hydration becomes your priority.

I can store 500 gallons of potable water in my backyard, allowing me the flexibility to focus on other things like growing food and patrolling a perimeter.

I would try and drive deep in the woods on a 4x4 access road near a water source, idealy a river/stream. As long as I have a means of creating a fire, I'm not worried about sterilizing water and staying warm. Personally I have taken a week long survival course, covering some basics. Would it help? Probably, would it get me through the SHTF, maybe if nothing serious happens along the way.

From here I would just ration my supplies based off my daily activity, keep a low profile and wait. I would plan on monitoring the radio, hams and hopefully news is available during this time.

Besides that, my area in the cities is probably very high risk of getting killed, robbed of my stuff. I think bugging in is good if you have people in your group to share duties. I can't patrol 24/7 and do the things I need to do, even getting enough sleep will likely cause me to slip up while being on high alart for days or weeks at a time. At least in the woods I might have better odds. At least less chance of coming across people wanting to do me harm or finding people like minded.

Interesting theory, but in the end, I might not have a choice to bug in or bug out.

That's why I'm telling them to get ready. Maybe nothing will happen , maybe the shtf , be prepared either way

Most people couldn’t survive a week in the elements.

What the hell do you think a place like Los Angeles would look like after a week of no incoming supplies?

If you are dumb enough to still live in greater Los Angeles, you’re dead already.
