Closest I have to that era of rock is seeing Floyd live. Amazing experience.
The Who is a great band, would have loved to see them.
Haven't see them but I've seen..
Beach Boys, Leon Russel, KISS, Deep Purple, Grand Funk, Billy Preston, Chicago, ELO, the Stones, Neil Diamond, (never saw ACDC), Three Dog Night, Alice Cooper several times, Creedence, Bad Company, Zeppelin (I think), Jerry Jeff Walker, Willie Nelson (talked with him for maybe 20 minutes), Guess Who, more if I think about it, oh Santana, Ernest Tubb, Loretta Lynn...I've even see Captain Kangaroo..
Impressive.
I always thought they were boring and overhyped but i was born in 1980
Honestly, my brother hyped them up big, and when I saw them, we were both disappointed lol.
We expected too much I guess, normally they're one of the wildest onstage.
