I really thought we would never have an ideological purge in the US. I thought we had learnt from the past, from the Holodomor and Mao and Pol Pot. But now that I think about it, I bet all those people who got purged also thought they had learned from the past.

Edit: I also applied it myself, because I figured out that you can flair yourself, and more people will look at it if it looks like the admins tried to censor it
