Diversify your ammo
true, BUT... standardisation matters.
unless you have specific needs, stick to the main 4.
22, 12 gauge, 223, 308.
762 is my personal favorite
horses for courses.
308 is a great pig gun but you need to know your ammo well for shots over 250m... despite its accuracy and efficiency, i still wish they'd kept the 3006 as the standard military round because of how it can be loaded with today's powders and bullets... the us army should have adopted the 270 imo.
The majority of infantry battles are going to happen within 300 metres... that's why the 223 is so good.
If you want something to reach out and fuck anything and a .50 is not an option, get a 300 RUM and read up how to put tungsten cores inside projectiles. My honest advice to 99% is to just learn how to shoot 223 like a wizard out to 600+ metres. It doesn't take much to fuck up a subhuman, especially today's libtard snowflakes made of transfats.
308 is deprecated to 6.5 creed. 7.62x39 > .223 any day of the week for any practical purpose.
Amateur.
308 is better than 6.5 within typical shooting ranges.
270 shits on 6.5 for long range ballistics factoring in windage.
223 is faster and more accurate than all within typical fighting ranges.
you are the amateur with fuck all experience.
