You're right, but doesn't make it an efficient option. Even fast growing coniferous trees take a solid what, 50 years or so to produce a good sized tree?

Burning trees is retarded. They do it because coal is “bad” even though it burns magically compared to wood. If you want to burn wood for energy on a large scale you must burn rubber with it. It’s retarded.
