It’s because it was abused so I had to write a rule. If everything goes in whatever all the time then this might as well be Instagram or some gay shit do you really want that? Subs exist for a reason.
If subs exist for a reason, and you have one named whatever, expect it to be abused. So if you don’t want this place to be instagram maybe you shouldn’t have a sub named Whatever. It really seems to imply that you can put whatever the fuck you want there.

I’m from Voat, and I kinda like you faggots. However since I’ve seen here there seems to be some conflict on what the admins want in /Whatever. Yes it would be better for things to be more organized, but it’s not going to happen with a sub like that, or /tellpoal for that matter.
On Voat v/Whatever was used way too much from a categorical point of view. I use /ALL, so it doesn’t really affect me, but I can see how it could affect other users. If you want your house in order you can’t have junk drawers. It’s like the jews....you’ll keep having the same problems unless you delete them.
