TPP will be back under Biden though, unless the rumors that Biden is going to stick it to China are true, as the purpose of TPP was to transfer wealth from the USA to China, with some crumbs falling to other TPP nations (eg: Japan).

It is. Japan is either conquering Asia or secluding itself from it, historically, but now it is entering into a fake and gay trade deal with it that anyone could see was designed to enrich China, supposedly Japan's nemesis nowadays.

biden's people are running 2 contrary narratives as far as I know. one is to appease silicon valley in that they're going to lube up and spread america's cheeks for china again, because silicon valley bet the farm with all their manufacturing in china, and the other narrative is for when the economic forces demonstrate that there's no reason to not manufacture closer to home - but not usa, it's going to mexico first and foremost, and what doesn't fit inside mexico will spill into the usa, hence the implementation of open borders by donald trump to import mexican labor to undermine wage rises in usa for labor jobs.
