He swore by the thing.
But man, I only adjusted my BMW valves when I felt like it - and they made a clatter like the engine was going to blow up over 65MPH no matter what. It did not blow up, though. It would have kept going forever, were it not for the so-cal highway issue which finally killed her. I lived though, much to your chagrin!
