When presented with problems never accept what you are told something does Or that it works a certain way, always think about what you else you could make it do not just what it was designed to do.

Absolutely! I come from a family of scroungers, my Dad being the one who taught us that if you didn't have the 'exact' right part to fix something, if you used your head, you could often figure it out using what you had. That's what made America great, people thinking outside the box ... nowadays, folks don't seem to be taught to think at all.

Seriously! You can almost always make it fucking work some how. Be creative! Now days it seems everyone just thinks oh it doesn’t work, now I need a new one.

Plus you can often turn something broken into something else with a little imagination. But that does end up with me having a bunch of crap I'll never use laying around.

I may or may not have a bunch of crap I’ll never use and it may or may not annoy my wife.... but it might be useful some day I swear!
