That also means that some of the cheapest rural areas have been absolutely flooded with liberal fucks coming in with coastal money from selling their insanely overpriced condo and buying up land from boomer farmers and ranchers who don't realize or don't care that they're funding their retirements at the cost of permanently locking their grandchildren out of ever owning land where they were born and raised. I guess since so many of them just inherited that land from their parents anyways they have no concept of what it takes for a young family to actually take a foothold.
