I think that's a pessimistic way of looking at it. Their are many, especially in the armed forces, who think they ARE doing the right thing. That doesn't make them evil. Just naive.

Every non-jewish SJW THINKS they are doing the right thing. Unfortunately, what we think and the reality of life is often worlds apart.
I do not believe for a single moment that the universe gives "points" for "thinking" we are doing good things. That's why "the road to hell is paved with good INTENTIONS".
But not good BEHAVIORS.
Depends on your beliefs. If you believe in a creator, you may be more inclined to believe that each person will be judged on their own merits.
Merit: the quality of BEING particularly good or worthy.
(not THINKING you are good or worthy).
I agree with you. All society is judged on the merits of its individuals.
