They’ll convince everyone it’s only temporary. That staying in your home, quarantined, wasn’t enough. It’s still spreading. But if you all go into the camp for a few weeks, it’ll get contained and then we can all go “back to normal.” And they’ll eat that shit up and go along with it with a smile on their face, thinking they’re saving the world.
