I don't think this will happen so easily like the other things did. Maybe I'm foolish but this I can see as the last straw.

6 months ago when I didn't wear a mask I would get reminded with every once in a while someone would actually appear agitated.

Nothing remotely like that happens anymore, anywhere.

While most people still wear masks. They're just wearing them because they aren't sure about how smooth sailing it is to just not.

I live in enemy territory. Everyone here wears a mask and if you don't, the store will trespass you and call the cops.
