on voat 100 votes meant something 300 meant another 500+ something else

posts barely break 30 on free speech sites. news goes by unnoticed. slide thread operations?

unsourced rumors linger without debunking

Can anyone notice a difference in poal since voat arrived? cause it doesnt feel like voat arrived.

a few years ago i used to be someone who would find main headlines and try to be first to post. then i found that others were competing to do so i was happy to turn over the reigns in more creative pursuits.

maybe its just the holidays? maybe voat going down has had a strong demoralization effect?

if my post gets moved thats ok

Another factor is that most people never vote and few actually register as users because they never vote or comment, voat coerced many such users into account creation. Most web devs are acutely aware of the 80/20 rule, 80% of visitors only read or watch and don't register, of the 20% who do register 80% never post, this continues reducing until you reach power users.

Before the qtard invasion voat was quite a lot smaller, and most of those rubes went back onto 8kun and the .win sites.

It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out.
