To a limited extent, decadence leads to the decay we see in every facet of western society.
They decay we see today is from throwing brow beaters into jail when they caught someone breaking a cultural taboo. race mixing? that's a beating. Stealing? that's a beating. not going to church every sunday, if your healthy that's a beating. looking at small boys like you should be looking at women? that's a lynching and a burn'n their sinful house down.
Telling country and small town folk the above is a crime is the cause of degeneracy.
We live in a moral free decadent time. No historical precedence for the outcome of these things. The future is a fucking mystery.
Sodom and Gomorrah were once threats of what could happen. weather by human hand, wrath of god, or a bit of both. Without that threat most of society slumps and seeks quick pleasure without regard for their own tribe.
The thing that most Christians lacked that i've met is they lack a moral core. The threat of damnation is the only reason they act civil in public. Being moral in absence of anything else is the true path of light. Being moral under threat is giving in to blackmail, and their true intentions can be revealed by when that threat disappears, encouraged by bribery, or motivated by revenge. This deception leads to the schizophrenic reality of saying the world is an ideal, but acting to indulge in your personal guilty pleasures, and never admitting you ever indulge. This along with saying you have faith, but never defending it when it is under attack or outright torn down. Standing up for what you believe is considered suicide with all the crap going on today. Sodom and Gomorrah is the complete death of a society, where not a single person is worth saving, and any righteous man will see their plight and ignore their cries for help for they damned thy selves and have no one else to blame.
