I posted an article about Brexit that AOU moved to s/europeannews. Surely, s/whatever is for......wait for it....whatever.
Maybe s/whatever is intended for general things that don't fit in other specific already designated subs?
Yeah, that's the way I see it. The problem I notice is that people stop using subverses when they know their posts won't gain any traction, so they start flooding /whatever with all of their posts which causes the subverses to never be used.
Voat was full of subverses that nobody ever used and that was frustrating because what's the point of having them. People would just start posting wherever they would get the most eyes on.
Other than Qtards, do people just look at individual subs? Doesn't everyone just read "all"? The other way seems like you would miss all kinds of things.
Maybe, but I hope not. I doubt anyone has memorized the name and subject of every single sub!
I used the button on the right that lists all the subs and scroll through to find the one I'm looking for. No need to memorize.
