I think you should try looking up head, nasal, throat and chest voice.
Each is used to increase range and tonality, nasal / head for higher notes, chest / throat for lower, with a blend tone in the middle.
Most popular singers tend to sing with some variation on different levels of tonal control.
I need to increase the strength of the throat / chest blend along with the current level of nasal strength, as an example this is exactly how Adele sounds the way that she does, she sings with an extremely strong dual tone from both the chest and head space which very few people can do to the same level as her.

Thats basically entirely throat.
The way to improve my voice further is to keep and even strengthen the nasal push but with also improving the chest voice on top of it as well, Im already managing it much better. Recording with the different tones helps me find out which work best for my voice.
