I'll admit, it did feel like I was talking to a wall because that guy would not concede on his point about his accusation of us. I essentially had to argue over how we are not Nazis.
It is definitely your choice on how you want to handle people like this. I personally would like my country (I'm American) more unified and less divided
I'm American, too. Been so for 50+ years. I've been called a Nazi, a Commie, a Fellow Traveler, a White Supremacist... you name it. None of it bothers me anymore.
It doesn't bother me either. I mentioned that I am American so that non-American readers would get what context I am coming from.
What is of concern is if the extremists got their way. They'd put people like you and I into reeducation camps for something that we didn't even do
They are welcome to try.
