After being stuck in mass downvote hell and being permanently stuck on -5 rep (they capped negative rep to -5), I felt like there was noting to lose in making my Ruqqus profile public again and spammed all my usual shitposts.

Instead people actually liked my shitposting, went through my post history and started upvoting all my shit, and I went from being stuck on -5 back up to +50.

But it seems the mass downvoters noticed this, as now all my threads got hit with CP spammers instead.

Could say the same about this site.

Ruqqus started out the same as Poal, but is trying to appeal to the masses as well.

But you can write and say anything except for CP and doxxing with real life information.

So its an active site without cancel culture basically.

Ah gotcha I didn't realize it started the same as poal.

For me the progression from reddit>voat>phuks>poal had reasoning behind it. I wasn't sure if Ruqqus had a special niche or was created to fill a void the other sites left.
