Everything about this world is wrong.
Everything gets worse.
All paths lead to destruction.

The most that you can hope for is a quiet life of silent dignity: carving out your own nook, and biding your time. I've lost faith in humanity as a whole: I now only believe that a select few are capable of seeing through the garbage. The outcast and ostracized are few and far between: but we always find each other. This is why the world exists: as a filter. Those who fail the trials and tribulations, of this place, are unworthy of joining a higher plane— out of sheer incompatibility.

I don't think that all of us will make it simply by virtue of us knowing, or seeing through some lies. Only that it's the correct starting point— a healthy love of truth. Don't let the demons drag you down, like crabs in a bucket. It isn't worth it. Know inner peace through the rejection of fear: the fear of truly knowing yourself and of testing your own limits by obeying your own intuition: the culmination of all your wisdom.

I don't know why I wrote this. I guess, if anything, it's a type of personal self-help manifesto. Sooner or later: you'll conquer your problems, or you'll die beforehand. There is no alternative.

Study human history and discover that these are the best of times. With exceptions, we have it better than anybody before us. Pick the earlier decade or century, any of your choosing. Prove you wrong? ...easily.

I'm talking about this world, as a whole, not just: "in this day and age." Read back what I've said, and apply it to all of human history, if you must. If these are "the best of times," then holy shit: you just knocked my point out of the park for a triple-home-run. (super late reply, haven't been on my computer much lately)
