THEY STARTED ROUNDING PEOLPE UP IN MY COUNTY
Throwaway account. I am not shitting you. I am terrified. I saw it with my own eyes.
I had to run out to the store and about 4 miles from my house while driving I come upon a row of black SUVs and black pickups with cabs all unmarked but with blue grill lights going like mad. I looked like they were pulling a guy out of his house. He was in cuffs in the front yard.
But this is the thing... None of these were local PD. I am very familiar with all of the LEO in my area. We have one SWAT team for the entire county. These were not them. They looked and carried themselves like military contractors. All of them were is tactical gear and armed with M4s but none of their gear or uniforms matched. They all had the look of living day to day in that gear. At least one of them was in olive drab with a chest rig and one was in a FDE/Desert color. They looked like what happens when you tell a group of operators they can customize their own load out and they have a gear reimbursement allowance. None of this looked proper for how PD would serve a warrant.
I drove past. I did my shopping. On my way home I am passed by two of the unmarked SUVs that I saw before coming in the opposite direction. They had lights going and were easily traveling 60-70 MPH in a 35 MPH zone. They were in hurry to get where ever they were going.
When I got home I decided to do a little digging. Turned on the scanner and read through the police blotters for all for all of the surrounding towns. Some of my local PDs publish their blotter at the end of the month, some at the end of the week so I only could see the logs from two of the towns around me... But what I saw is what left me terrified. I have never see the like before outside of a major metropolitan PD...
- THEY EXECUTED 13 SIMULTANEOUS SEARCH WARRANTS ON SATURDAY ALONE.
- THEY EXECUTED 8 SIMULTANEOUS SEARCH WARRANTS ON FRIDAY.
- Lots of entries in the blotter like "Traffic Stop" with a resolution of "REFEREED TO OTHER AGENCY"
- I saw one 4:00am entry of "ASSIST OTHER AGENCY" with a residential addresses listed. no-knock raid?
I AM NOT KIDDING. I THINK SHIT STARTED GOING DOWN FOR REAL ON FRIDAY. Check you local PD logs. This was in a Democrat controlled blue state in the north east US. If you have contingency plans you may want to put them in motion.
