I managed to read and play through all of a Scott Joplin rag (Reflection Rag) albeit each hand seperately over 3 sessions of about 30-45 mins each time!

I am making progress and focusing on improving my sight reading and learning all the ragtimes.

Well, as long as you got a working computer, fren. Right now, I'm looking towards a total-rebuild: everything is too outdated. My PC was an absolute monster six years ago. Now: not so much. The wear-and-tear on it is damn-near retarded, though: so I can at least say it put up a good fight. But now it's time to retire. Starting from scratch, very soon.

I have my working backup currently - a £50 dual core and same price motherboard.

I tried to play Civ VI again on it and it takes a year to generate and load a new map :(

Its actually below minimum spec too - Civ VI needs at least an I3, mines a pentium, though it is a 2c/4t, it lacks some of the features and less cache than an I3.

I dont need my back up to be any better as thats all it is, but I cant wait to gamble on whether on Asus will be able to repair or refund an EOL motherboard.

Planning on getting my lounge done after the lockdown and I will hook up my back up PC to a 4K TV and stream to it. I will need to add whatever cheapest GPU has a Display Port output to is as it only has a DVI and HDMI output for the integrated crappy graphics.
