I could hide all my stuff in my home and say it was stolen (I stole it and hid it myself using wormholes and/or warp technology). Have it be insured and it's worth roughly $20,000.

I then use the $20,000 to branch out from there.

I start using the wormhole / warp technology to rob people 250 miles from me as well as 100s of miles out from there to as well.

I sell all the valuables then keep it growing. I take precious metals and/or etc and melt them down. I make $250k in my first month.

I start using the warp / wormhole technology to move the gold / silver out of the country and take it to tax havens as well as countries where it's easy to invest globally.

I keep doing this and my money grows from investing and after 20-30 years (maybe 5 years or so) I have $1,000,000,000.

All because I robbed myself.

you think very small and petty. if you started a fedex competitor you'd make billions of dollars per year, legitimately. you could enable safer and cheaper space exploration. you'd be helping the human race. but go ahead, steal peoples knick knacks.
